2011 - 2012 Junior Davis Cup
October 4 - May 28

A complete after school
tennis program for junior players

JDC is unique as it provides a platform for young aspiring tennis players to sharpen their tennis skills during the winter months in the Truckee Meadows. The experienced coaching staff at Lakeridge uses the latest techniques to reach competitive goals, including physical fitness, mental training and match play analysis. Most classes will involve competitive challenge ladder matches. This complements the intensive drilling during the colder winter months that proves to be an integral part of the junior development process.

Director of Junior Development ~ Jani Tiilikainen

This will be Jani's 14th year at Lakeridge. He is originally from Finland and has worked with several nationally and internationally ranked juniors. He obtained the number one Men's Open singles and doubles ranking in the state of California and was voted the Northern California Player of the Year in 1998. He has held a world ranking on the ATP Tour and has wins over players ranked in the top 200 in the world. Jani still competes in Northern California and is ranked as one of the best players in both singles and doubles in the Men's Open division. Jani is the 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 USTA National Singles Champion (30 & over).
Jani will be teaming up with Jason Yelley
